Register for your trips

Registration is crucial for the safety of the participants as sufficient equipment needs to be prepared for each trip. We also need to know the number of members coming, as the trip may be cancelled if there are too few participants. Registration can be done by calling the trip coordinator.

MKS and its partners shall not be made liable for any accidents or mishaps during any of its outings.

Excursion to Perlis State Park (3days)

Date: 1st to 3rd Oct. 2010

The Perlis State Park (PSP) is located at the Western border of Perlis with Thailand. Apart from watching PSP's interesting wildlife, this excursion will have our guests visit the dark mysterious labyrinth of Gua Wang Burma. Be prepared to get wet and dirty while learning more about limestone and cave. A challenging climb up Bukit Pelarit, the park's highest limestone peak at 553m will reward you with stunning vistas of the surrounding landscape including views of Langkawi and Ko Tarotau in Thailand. It also allows you to experience the unique limestone semi-deciduous forest.

Excursion to Ulu Muda, Kedah (3 days)

Date: 22dn to 24th Oct. 2010

Located at the eastern frontier of Kedah bordering the Thai province of Yala, this 160,000ha forest is home to most of Malaysia's large mammals. It houses 9 of the 10 Hornbill species found in Malaysia including the very rare and endangered Plain-pouched Hornbill. Also found in the area are the three
man made lake of Ahning, Pedu and Muda.

Some of the activities you will experience include visits to salt licks, overnight at a wildlife hide, swimming and frolicking in cold forest streams, visit to a newly discovered limestone hill and its mysterious caves and watching birds and other wildlife.
